ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
-3 to 5 years experience in a senior position, office environment (Years of experience may vary based on previous responsibilities (e.g. assistant vs. secretary/receptionist).
-Office Administration Assistant Certificate from a Community College or minimum three (3) years related experience.
-Advanced and demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and Word.
-Well organized; able to meet deadlines and works well with minimum supervision.
-Proven ability to grasp computer concepts and incorporate office automation concepts into daily workflow.

-Can create clear, concise and meaningful presentation - knowledgeable about what makes a good presentation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)
-Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
-Acts as a liaison with Senior Management, Physicians, Directors, Managers, Hospital Staff, Board and Committee members and the general public.
-Acts as a contact, or alternate, with external customers (e.g. Ministry of Health and Long-term Care, ESC LHIN, HIROC, CCAC, etc.).
-Draft and/or assist with drafting of reports, applications, Requests for Proposals, correspondence, memos, etc. using Microsoft Word.
-Draft presentations using Microsoft Power Point.
-Record minutes for Board Finance Committee, Board Audit Committee, HITEC, and other Task Teams as needed.
-Facilitate projects for the Vice President and CFO.
-Manage day-to-day office operation (e.g. telephone inquiries, mail, appointment scheduling, etc.).
