ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
-Pharmacy Technician Certificate from a Community College course or equivalent.
-Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
-Knowledge of unit dose dispensing.
-Knowledge of point of use systems.
-Hospital experience preferred.
-IV admixture and chemotherapy preparation skills an asset.
-Good attendance.

-Dispensing & Distribution of medications, including narcotics
-Awareness of Pharmacy Inventory System
-Preparation of IV admixture, TPN & Chemotherapy mixtures
-Repackage Medications
-Medication Order Entry into Pharmacy Software
-Medication Reconciliation
